Dissecting Of A Hugely Successful Email Campaign


As we look through this email pay very close attention to why it works and what caused not only a huge increase in sales because of it's success, but also a deeper connection with my customers because it was very sincere and genuine. 

In the email you'll notice the feeling of connection between leader and client, between coach and student. It's not a correcting email, making people feel bad and telling them to step up, but a heart felt sincere email that shares with transparency and vulnerability that we're really very similar. 

I share that we all get off track and we all lose focus. 

This isn't the posture of one who has arrived and others should all follow, but rather, the relating of one individual to the other in a hopes of creating a change

Then I offer a chance to help- by committing to coaching.

The reason the coaching is so valuable is because it's the exact same thing that has helped me to be hugely successful. The vulnerability and transparency continues as I share that we all derail and the way to stay focused, move ahead and reach your goals is to have the right people in place to help you get there.

The human spirit is one that desires to connect and continue, it's not designed to quit. The process of giving up and quitting is honestly a learned behavior, not one we were born with.

It is my belief that when you 'tap into' the divine design of your clients, going to where they live now, encouraging them with their potential, being vulnerable and transparent, we all win, enormously.

Copywriting That Converts, Generates Massive Traffic And Creates A Huge Culture To Serve

Writing words that sell makes building an online business a blast! Why? Because it's easier to help people get the results they are seeking.

For example, what if your product can help someone get out of debt? You have the ability to help people pay off their credit cards, get past their current struggle and rebuild their life. Sounds amazing, doesn't it? Here's the harsh reality behind this amazing product- if you can't write words that sell, no one is helped and you can't stay in business.

The best person for this topic- debt reductions, paying off debt, getting past the bondage of debt and rebuilding your life is non other than Dave Ramsey. He is my go-to source when it comes to learning how to manage wealth and living a life of freedom financially. I trust 100% everything he publishes and have benefited personally from it. 

Harsh reality again- if Dave Ramsey didn't have someone on staff who could write sales copy that converts, he would not have the world-wide influence that he does. No one would have bought his books nor would they know who he is. Copy that does this is why he is where he is at. Coupled with marketing to the right clients, we can see the obvious success.

Copy that converts and generates massive traffic is a MUST for your business. Are you taking it seriously?

Every month there are multiple companies that go out of business… or worse yet, never even take off. Obviously there are many factors that can cause this but one simple reason is- they can't write or speak words that sell. Ironically, it's not a hard process to learn, but it is a skill that must be learned, it can't just be picked up by reading a few articles.

The Steps To Learning How To Write Good Copy

Step One- Get my book. It's free and you can begin to implement what it teaches now. You'll find it on iTunes and on Amazon.com With 17 years of experience in business, this will teach you how to become more familiar with your market, your clients and what they are already saying in your respective niche. Then….. your job is critical. Learn to think, process and even LIVE in the world your client lives in.

Bottom line- what you think, what you like, what you believe about your product means absolutely nothing! What does matter is what your client thinks, likes and believes. THIS is your first step. Get to know your client better than they even know themselves.

Step Two- Your WordPress site is the best platform for everything to grow at the fastest pace online. Everything works better with Google Ranking, Social Media connections and beyond with a WordPress site.

My first choice for any beginning business owner is Thesis. Here's why- SEO is unstoppable and can't get better with any other theme. As well, you won't need a web master to run everything for you!  Sure, there are other great themes but they ALL seem to lead you on a path to always needing someone else to do everything for you. YOU don't have time for that. Maybe later you'll hire someone to do some custom things, but for now, a good header, a good layout and you're all set. 

Once WordPress is set up it's time to SATURATE your mind with good copy.

I hate to break it to you but it's CRITICAL that you get really good at copywriting.  And it's NOT going to happen with just a few books or by reading other people's work. It's important for you to understand basic principeles of copy and it's imperative that you learn to bring this into all of your work. Blogging, emails, social media, sales pages and more all depend on good copywriting skills.

Being able to write words that sell doesn't just happen, it's a skill that has to be learned. The only way to learn it is to have someone who is very good at it, teach us. This is how I learned. Do whatever it takes to increase your skill, so you can grow your business.  Without copywriting skills everything else will fall apart and won't do what you need it to.

Step Three- Decide and determine in your mind that you will get masterfully good at writing copy that converts. Make a decision to do whatever it takes to get there. Guard your mind. Protect it from negative influences. Remove from your circle of influence those who might hold you back.

The decision to really put ourself into a state of being able to succeed is something that so many people forget. They study, they try, they push…and yet they never get themselves into a state of being prepared to succeed and doing whatever it takes to do so. 

When I was a single mom, raising my son who is now 25years old, we were living on $5000 per year. Deep inside of me was a desire to be more and to go farther than I could even imagine. However, the actions to do so were never taken until I was married, some years later, and first exposed to the internet.

It was at that time that I began to take specific steps to learn how to build an online business. I studied businesses, spent hours and hours and hours learning how to build websites, write copy and all the aspects of an online business that were needed. It was not easy, but here I am talking to over a million of you! It WAS WORTH IT! 🙂 

If I had given up, you would not be reading this today. Thank you GOD that I didn't give up. There were so many times through the last 17 years that the stage was set…. even prepared it would seem, for me to fail. But I didn't quit. I didn't give up. There was a burning passion and fire inside of me that was BIGGER than me. Today, in 2013, I see it. It's connected to Y-O-U. ALL of you. YOU were the reason I kept going. And YOU were worth it all! Still are!

The question I have for you today is this- are you doing the things that it takes to get you to your dreams? Or are you still hoping that somehow you can get there without doing something different? 

Learning to FIND the urgent pressing problem that you are going to solve is critical. 

Finding the unique solution that you offer and then understanding how to write words that lead people to that solution is imperative for you to succeed.

Build the best way to reach your ideal clients and then creating an offer that is irresistible is what will create a steady stream of cash flowing into your business daily.

However, if you do all of these things and never take any steps to becoming the kind of person who can manage success, it will flow right through your hands and onto someone else. Building a business is not easy, otherwise everyone would be doing it! But it's also not complicated! It's something that can be done by anyone who will make a commitment to do so. I'm proof of that and so are our clients and their stories!

Today, make a decision to do whatever it takes and then do the actionable steps to get there, for an entire year. At the end of the year you will be masterful, because of your daily steps forward.

Today, make a choice to no longer live the same! YOU were designed to BE MORE!

Never Outsource Your Voice!

"Hi, I'm so and so and I'm the Editor and Publisher of So and So online business. It's great to talk to you today!"

The screen had text across it on a flash video.

There were no faces, just words.

Not too uncommon in this age of video marketing…. but that voice. "What?!" that was my first thought.

Having been a subscriber of this so and so online publication for quite some time I was standing there shocked at what I was seeing. The voice was not the person it was claiming to be. As a matter of fact that voice was used in more than a half a dozen places through another company I had been very familiar with.

Puzzled, I sat there trying to grasp the intent. I guess it wasn't that big of a deal, maybe I'm just too anal retentive when it comes to one's business online voice. But then something really strong began to rise up in my belly and it said, 

"NEVER outsource your voice."

I began to consider the words I just heard. Never is a strong, all inclusive, no exceptions position. Never. Wow. Never… 

You can outsource a lot of things, but outsourcing the connection you make on an audible, visual and written level with your customers and clients must not be done.

When I asked my followers on Facebook and Twitter what they thought of this they felt it would make one look deceptive, unprofessional, weak. Some said that they would lose trust if someone did this. Others asked why anyone would even do this. Some gave critical insight into the fact that some business owners are so insecure that if someone suggested this, they would think it was no big deal. Note: These were customers, my ideal clients, giving this input. They all thanked me for not doing this. 

So what do you do if you are afraid to speak through video or a recording?

Imagine if you will you start out a business and you're a little intimidated by the presentations other people do. So you're tempted… maybe it would be best to have someone else speak on your behalf.

Have you ever felt this way? Don't worry, you're not alone… but here are a few guidelines for what you can and shouldn't outsource when it comes to your "voice".

The Importance Of Your Voice

1. Your Voice Speaks To Your Customer  When You Are Not There

When people hear me on my videos, teleclasses, webinars and Monday night calls, they are making a connection with me. When your clients are listening to you, they are 'getting accustomed' to you. This connection must not be broken. 

The subconscious mind is a very sensitive thing. If you 'plant' an audible voice into my head with one of your audios, I will forever come to expect that voice anytime and any place you show up. This connection must also not be broken.

Your voice is speaking to your customers when you are not there. Be very careful that it is crystal clear. 

2. Your Voice Builds Trust

It is my belief that all human beings desire to trust. This is why there are so many people who are broken and messed up. I was one. In a very deep way. Trust is something we all crave after and seek. But we also know it doesn't take too long before trust is broken. Your customers are the same way. 

Sadly, this is one of the most skeptical times in history ever recorded. Copywriters, marketers and management teams alike will tell you people are tired of being fed a fraud. They are second-guessing, more doubtful and really are on guard more than ever before.

Your voice, my friends, is an audible representation of who you are. Diana, one of my followers on Facebook, stated this and it blew me away. It was spot on! It is your energy, your vibration, it is unique and unable to be copied exactly. It is Y-O-U and you were given this ability and gift so that your unique blessing would impact the world. Let your customers come to trust you and you'll never lack in business.

If more business owners were mindful of this it would create trust at a deeper level and set themselves apart in business.  

3. Your Voice Is Followed 

Dogs aren't the only ones seeking a voice to follow. If your voice is a deep spirit to spirit connection with others doesn't it make sense to bring your best effort forward? Some of us need to invest into getting better writing skills. Others have to learn how to convey a topic in a way that is easily understood through speaking. Still others have to get past the fear of video and realize that no matter what they look like, people will connect with the sincerity of who they are.

Think of Susan Boyle! Amazingly powerful and influential woman who at first glance didn't seem as such. Her voice could never be outsourced! When your customers 'hear' your voice through emails, then 'continue to hear' your voice in your blog posts, later 'hearing you in their living room as they read your book and daily 'hearing' you through social media it is imperative that you give them a trustworthy, honest voice to follow.

Maybe the person doing the video I saw didn't even think this deeply. Maybe they've never even considered how critical one's "voice" is in this day of marketing and the internet. But you my friends are aware and can now live in the highest level of integrity. 

As you can see it is critical you not outsource your voice. You can, if you must, have someone speak on your behalf, pointing towards you, but you must not ever have someone else say, "This is your-name" when it is not.
Stay true to who you are and you'll have hundreds of thousands who listen, trust and follow you forever!
