Do Less And Create More- The Secret To Long Term Success

One of the biggest keys to success is consistency. When we do something consistently and repeatedly, not only do we get really masterful at our skill, we also convey a 'hidden' message to our clients many might not even be aware of.
A common fear of consumers, especially in the online world, is whether or not a business will last. Will the business still be around a year from now? You can easily and quickly dispel or at least lower that fear if you are consistent.
If I check your website and you only blog occasionally, that isn't consistent. It also doesn't make me believe you are serious about what you are doing.
Serious is twins with consistent. No such thing as being serious and inconsistent. Consistency also fuels seriousness, so they go hand in hand in a very inseparable way.
Do you lack confidence? Be consistent. You'll be amazed at how confident you can become by this one simple strategy. Stay consistent.
Many times new business owners tell me they lack the time to do what they want to in their business. Yet, if they took a good hard look at how few hours it actually takes to blog twice per week, publish their newsletter simultaneously, keep in touch with clients by email and do regular social media they would soon discover that all the brainstorming, masterminding and Skype chatting they've been doing is really what is stealing their time, not the real profit producing activities they should be doing.
Be consistent and you'll not only earn more you'll learn more!
Blog, write, build your list, social media, regular sleep, eating right, listening to great MP3's and CD's, watching DVD's of successful people and email marketing. Do these consistently! If you have a sellable product or service that is in demand you will earn more and LEARN more by being consistent.
Be consistent with less….
Line upon line, precept upon precept. 🙂 Just be consistent and watch what happens to your fears and worries!
If you're doing a launch of some sort, rolling out a new product or maybe you're in product development mode…..this is not the time to become inconsistent. Don't neglect your current list, even if there are only 500 people on it! Don't neglect your social media tribe for 4 days while you are 'working on your project' or you might not see the response you want when you 'come back'!
Can you imagine how the work habits of some small or home business owners would hold up in the corporate work force? Work regularly and hard for 5 weeks and then some 'personal crisis' occurs and you don't show up to work for 15 days? You'd be fired and not have a job!
Sadly, far too many newbie business owners have thought that time freedom means they can do whatever they want when they want to earn a profit and they are sorely disappointed when their inconsistent behavior costs them an enormous amount of money.
Consistency will slaughter procrastination.
When you buy a house or have a child…. we don't just stop paying our bills or going to work do we? Yet many home and small business professionals give themselves so many 'outs' for snow falling, shopping at the mall and 'masterminding at the local coffee shop' that they can't figure out why they are constantly struggling financially.
Be consistent. You'll be amazed at what happens! Consistent with less and before you know it you'll wonder why and how you were so distracted before!
Make a calendar, right now, of the next 30 days and write on the top of it, "BE CONSISTENT!" If you stick to this for 30 full days, no excuses and no back doors, you'll soon discover what is working and what isn't faster than any brainstorming session could ever reveal.
My friends, be consistent. It will remove fear, squash procrastination and will change your habits for the good. Today. Start now. Be consistent!
